Last week, the trending hashtags #ChallengeAccepted and #WomenSupportingWomen took over our social media feeds. The originations of the trend source back to a movement of women’s justice in Turkey, and evolved into a chain of empowerment from one woman to the next.
Per an Instagram spokesperson, this hashtag is:
It reminded me how important it is to raise each other up and support each other in any way we can. AND, to take a moment of gratitude for all the women who have your back, who are rooting for you, and for those who hold you up when you need it.
I have SO many of these women in my life, and I feel extremely fortunate. I'd also like to put this out there; I am here for you too, I believe in you, you've got this!
This week, I would like to say thank you AND cheers to all the ladies out there! We need each other, and I am so grateful for all of you!
